Six-Deck Sizing Machine; is a calibration equipment designed to classify pre-cleaned or non-cleaning-required cereals, pulses, oilseeds, and nuts (chickpeas, beans, lentils, sunflower seeds, etc.) solely according to their size with millimetric precision. It separates the product into exactly 6 different sizes while successfully removing broken grains and is particularly used before optical sorting (Sortex) machines to maximize the overall capacity and precision of the line.
Working Principle: Designed entirely for sizing and calibration, the machine does not incorporate any air suction or cleaning function and operates solely on the principle of mechanical vibration:
Eccentric Vibration System: The product from the feed hopper is discharged onto 6 screening decks positioned one above the other. Linear and balanced vibration waves generated by powerful eccentric bearings ensure that the raw material moves evenly across the screen surfaces.
Gradual Classification and Broken Grain Separation: The products moving across the screen surfaces are gradually separated on each deck into undersize and oversize fractions according to the mesh opening diameters. Through the synchronized operation of the 6 screening decks, the raw material, including broken grains, is separated into up to 6** different sizes** (calibers) and directed to independent discharge chutes.
Brush Screen Cleaning: Integrated mechanical brushes continuously moving beneath the screen sheets are provided. These brushes immediately push grains that may become lodged in the screen openings upward, preventing clogging (blinding); thus, screening efficiency is always maintained at the highest level in continuous production lines.
Products Processed and Improved: It is reliably used for precision commercial grading of all dry-grain agricultural products, particularly soybeans, chickpeas, beans, kidney beans, fava beans, sesame, lentils, wheat, rice, sunflower seeds, and cumin, with stationary or mobile chassis options.
