SRD Makine silo systems offer different feeding options according to your facility’s logistics infrastructure:
Bulk Tanker Inlet: The product can be transferred directly into the silos through a bulk tanker connection using compressed air.
Manual Bag Discharging: Manual feeding can be carried out under operator control via bag discharging units.
Controlled Feeding: In both methods, product entry into the silo is controlled through a rotary feeder (rotary valve) with the support of compressed air.
Especially in certain food and chemical processes, the required holding times for the product to develop its desired characteristics are optimized within the system:
Conditioning Process: Depending on requirements, the product can be held in the silos for an average of 3 to 7 days for conditioning.
Vibratory Discharge: The conditioned product is transferred into the system without caking or clogging through fluidized-bed vibratory silo dischargers.
Pneumatic Transfer: Product flow within the system is carried out without manual contact using compressed air supplied by compressors (pneumatic conveying).
