Modular Belt Conveyor is a flexible conveying system designed for transporting packaged or bulk loads in industries such as packaging, food, pharmaceuticals, logistics, and automotive. It features an interlocking plastic (PP, PE, POM) or stainless-steel modular link construction and is suitable for applications requiring high hygiene standards.
Working Principle: The system operates by using drive sprockets connected to a motor-reducer assembly to move the modular link belt along the frame in straight, inclined, or curved paths:
Easy and Localized Maintenance: Damaged or worn links can be easily replaced individually without replacing the entire belt, minimizing maintenance costs and downtime.
High Material Durability: Depending on the application, PP, PE, POM, or AISI 304 stainless steel provides the system with chemical resistance, high and low temperature resistance, corrosion protection, and antibacterial properties.
Flexible Frame and Line Geometry: The modular belt design allows straight, inclined, Z-frame, L-shaped, or curved conveyor lines with turns from 10° to 180° to be easily configured. Frames can be manufactured from Steel (ST37, DKP), Stainless Steel, or Aluminum.
Efficient and Automated Conveying: Eliminating the need for manual labor, the system can transport even demanding materials quickly, safely, and at minimum cost with cleated, smooth, or patterned belt surface options.
